Best Rust Servers

Vanilla (1x rates, no changes), modded (higher gather rates such as 2x, 5x or 10x, and plugins like teleports or shops), PvE (no player combat or protected zones) and building or training servers.

A wipe is the periodic reset of the map. A map wipe regenerates the world and keeps your blueprints; a blueprint (BP) wipe also clears what you unlocked. Each server sets its own schedule (weekly, biweekly or monthly), and official Facepunch servers follow the first-Thursday monthly update.

It is the maximum team size allowed. On a solo/duo/trio server you cannot play with more people than that limit, which keeps fights fairer against large clans.

From the in-game server browser, or by opening the console with F1 and typing client.connect followed by the IP and port shown on the server page.

Set the BattleMetrics ID or IP:port in advanced options when listing your server.

Ask your community to vote (one vote per day per player), complete country, language and tags (vanilla, PvE, 2x, weekly wipe) and, for more visibility, use Push to top.

Use the "All countries" and language filters on this page: they show only the Rust servers from the country you pick, and you can sort them by votes or by players online.
